At Ewaso Enclave Conservancy, we believe the best classrooms have no walls. Our multi-day children’s holiday program invites young explorers to connect with nature, wildlife, and culture in fun, hands-on ways — sparking curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for the wild.
Over the course of several days, children join expert guides, rangers, and local Maasai mentors in a series of engaging activities designed to educate and inspire. From wildlife tracking and bushcraft to storytelling and conservation projects, each day brings new adventures and discoveries.
Activities may include:
Learning to identify animal tracks, droppings, and bird calls
Practising bush survival skills, such as fire-making and traditional tool use
Beading sessions and cultural exchanges with Maasai women
Visiting the local Maasai Children’s Wildlife School
Planting indigenous trees and participating in hands-on conservation tasks
Stargazing and storytelling under the night sky
Fun group games and nature-based creative challenges
Tailored for different age groups and interests, the program blends education with play in a safe and inspiring environment. Children come away with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deeper understanding of Kenya’s wild spaces — and the people who protect them.
Parents can enjoy their own adventures, knowing their children are engaged, supervised, and thriving — wild and free, the Ewaso Enclave way.
